Tarotscope Week of August 6, 2012

Hope you are all having a wonderful beginning of August. This is the start of the harvest for our farmers. They have had a really bad season with the drought. We all need to send healing energy their way so they stay strong with this weather. Farming is their life and they make their living by farming and right now they are struggling. I am hoping that some of our farmers can make some type of living even with the drought.

Aries

When the 3 of Wands appears, you are likely to find that your finances are going much better, in fact this can be the month that your proverbial “ship has come in.” You are likely to be feeling very strong…and with good reason. You may be finally experiencing some important success after you’ve been through some difficulty.  In general the 3 of Wands refers to work, in an extremely positive way. Even if you don’t work outside
the home, it means that your efforts are seen, appreciated, and are well respected. Give yourself some credit.

It's almost time to move forward. But first, you must consider the possibilities. Do some research, write out all the options, and think about what goal is most appealing to you. Make a map of your journey and a list of the things that you will need. You will want to be sure that you will have everything you need a long way, that you know where you want to go, and you will know what to do once you have arrived there.

Taurus

The Chariot indicates a lot of energy; but not free-for-all energy; it's directed, controlled, and has a goal in mind. When this card appears you are likely to be fairly clear on what your hopes and dreams involve, and what you are willing to do to get there.  In general this card points to determination and ambition, getting things done, and testing and proving what you've got. This is a sign that you should move forward with whatever you have in mind (and in your heart) and give it your best shot. Remember, though, that you'll need to use both your intellect and your heart, in order to be truly successful.

Chariot remind you to take a step back and make note of the major issues that are causing your situation. You will probably find there are two opposing forces pulling at you. This is a case of choosing both set of one or the other. The key is finding a way to convince both forces to go forward in the same direction. It may seem impossible, but the chariot crosses your path, you can know it is indeed possible and certainly to your benefit.

Gemini

Often associated with the Astrological sign of Sagittarius, the King of Wands signifies wise, open, positive, adventurous masculine energy. As with all court cards, the king can indicate a literal person in your life; most often a man with hair on the lighter end of the spectrum. When the King appears, you are likely to have an abundance of energy which you are inclined to use in a positive direction.  In general the King of Wands is a positive omen. Even when he does not represent a literal individual in your life, he signifies that men around you are generally supportive and think well of you. You will be feeling ambitious and goal-oriented, and furthermore, you will have the wherewithal to accomplish what you have in mind. Think positively.

Cancer

When the Star appears, you are likely to find yourself feeling rather inspired. You will be feeling more hopeful about the future, and more confident that your needs - whether these are emotional or financial needs or both - will be met. This is also a very spiritual card. You may find yourself for a time feeling at one with all of creation. Savor it.

This card is a definite good omen. You are probably already inclined to be thinking positively; this is a time to do so specifically. What are the changes that you would like to make or see in your life? Make a list. You can accomplish nearly anything that you set out to do now.

Think big.

Your answer, should you find yourself by the Star’s pool, should be very welcome. Whatever has been trying your spirit, whatever difficulties you have been facing, whatever sadness has torn your heart, the Star brings the time of serene quiet;  a safe, cool place where you can be refreshed find hope. What you are renewed and feeling stronger, she will serve as your guide start help you find your way.

But first, it is time to rest.

Leo

Death does not necessarily, or even usually, indicate physical death. In fact it is considered irresponsible for readers to predict physical death, as we are creatures with free will and such things are not written in stone. This card simply indicates transformation and change. This is definitely a time of deep transformation, likely to be both inner and outwardly in your life. Situations, things, and people that you have counted on or gotten used to may no longer be available to you in quite the same way as they once were, and this transition can be difficult for some people.

The more accepting you can be of change during this time, and the less you try to “control” the better and the more comfortable you will be. Often what you need to “let go of” is some sort of self-limiting belief or attitude. Sometimes we just can't see how our attitudes are hurting us and when that is true this time period can be a wake-up call. The energy of this time is not just change or destruction; it is change or destruction followed by renewal. Even though one door may have closed, another is opening.

If you find yourself in the garden of the fae of Death you're given message of acceptance and hope. It is a time to accept the passing something from your life. Pain, sadness, and sense of loss are part of the experience. Find strength and hope from the knowledge that something else will arrive in your life to ease the pain and sadness and fill the empty space.

Virgo

The 7 of Cups is a card about choices. It often indicates confusion and can even also point to disorganization and too much going on. In general this card points to a need to narrow your focus. When it appears, you are probably trying to do too much, and doing most of it not very well. Choose just a few of the myriad things that are on your plate, and work through these items one by one, carefully. You may be feeling overwhelmed. Remember that you can control at least in some areas, how much you are trying to take on.

You are faced with choices-maybe two, maybe more. Maybe you're feeling unsettled and confused. You may not be quite sure what to believe. You're certainly not absolute sure what to decide. The time, though, for you to them in the choices thoroughly, and pick one. Somewhere deep inside you, you do what you want.

Focus on your heart, and make the decision.

Libra

Like many of the Swords suit, the 10 of Swords does carry an unpleasant connotation, but it is also not necessarily the end of the world. When the 10 appears, however, it is a clear signal to be careful about where one is putting one’s trust.  In general, when the 10 comes up in relation to a question as to whether you can believe what a person is telling you, or trust that a situation is stable, this is a pretty clear answer of “no.” However, try to bear in mind that whenever a door closes, another door opens. You are being guided to a situation that is better for you. Trust yourself and trust in the universe.

What you have feared and tried to avoid has happened. Something had ended, and your life is changed-changed but not over. The worst is over, and you may feel exhausted; you may even feel dead inside for a while. But without a doubt, something new will come to fill the empty space, and a new morning will bring the promise the sunrise and renewed hope.

Scorpio

When the 7 of Wands appears, you are likely to find that in any sort of competitive situation, that you come out on top. Things should be going very well, you should be feeling good, and projects should be moving right along. You may still have regular moments of self-doubt, unfortunately, but now is time to “feel the fear, and do it anyway.”  Don’t hesitate to make “where you stand” clear to people. Your thinking is clear, and you are likely to help someone out by “spelling things out” for them. This card can indicate that a change is coming—a positive change—in your personal or business life. This card also points toward being independent and thinking for yourself.

There is a difference of opinion and no sense of compromise. You want something that your partner does not. Neither of you can see the other's point of view. Unless one of you backs down, the only resolution is to end the partnership break your agreement with each other. Make sure what you want is worth the cost. If it is, then stand up for yourself, no matter how difficult. If not, then swallow your pride and give in or find a compromise.

Sagittarius

The Page of Pentacles can be a card about boredom, in some ways. You may be tempted to say or do things to shake things and people up just for a little excitement. Rethink this impulse, and find a better use of your energy. Excitement can be created.  In general the Page of Pentacles is excellent energy to support you when you have somewhat tedious
work to get accomplished. The Page can give you focus, backbone, and the wherewithal to stick with a task that is not necessarily glamorous or fun. Don’t try to sidestep effort, or you will fall on your face.

Capricorn

The majority of the Wands suits are basically very positive cards, however as you move towards the highest cards in the suit, more complexity and difficulty can be indicated. The 9 of Wands is where some would say this begins. This card can indicate anxiety and worry—being burdened and keyed up over concerns.  When the 9 of Wands comes up, the first and best step is often to take a deep breath and calm down.

Don’t let the things you are worried about overwhelm you. Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, if you must. At least some of your worries will very likely turn out to be imaginary. Get very specific on what you are afraid of and pick it apart. What is the true likelihood of the worry actually happening? Comfort yourself, and if you need help, don’t hesitate to ask for it. Asking for help is the mark of a strong person.

You have made choices that have consequences. The consequences may be ones you like or what you don't like. The outcomes may be exactly what you intended or not what you had in mind at all. Nevertheless, they are the results of your actions. You will have to accept them decide how you will live with them.

Aquarius

The Magician is about making higher - and better - use of all of one's power. Spiritual, emotional, and otherwise. This is another card that often signifies new beginnings and great expectations. This is a very powerful, positive omen in a reading.

This card reminds us that we have the power to make a difference, in our lives and in the greater world, if we simply make a point to try. You may notice many synchronicities, which point towards deep, spiritual events taking place regardless of the “importance” of their superficial appearances. You should be finding that you have the knowledge, strength, and inspiration needed to meet your challenges. In general this is a very positive time for you.

While in this part of the garden of life, you are reminded that you have more control over your life than you may think or feel at the moment. That’s a wonderful empowering notion. But humans can be careless, thoughtless, or even short-sighted. You must be aware that everything you do has consequences, sometimes further reaching then you can imagine. Like the Magician, you have power and ability; use it well.

Pisces

The 10 of Cups is another of the most uplifting of cards that you can receive. This card points to happiness in general, perhaps in a more mature, grown-up, global kind of way as opposed to the more personal, less global, wish fulfillment promised by the 9 of Cups. Either way it's a good card.  In general the 10 of Cups speaks of a happy family life, (even if the you are single,) and to general well- being that goes beyond you yourself to include those that you are concerned about - parents, siblings, children, etc. Being spiritually fulfilled is also part of the picture here. This is a good card to see regardless of the
question.

Perfect peace, contentment, happiness. Do you have it? Be grateful and treasure it everyday. Do you want it? Is usually the reward for years of hard work and careful attention to the details of a relationship. It hardly ever does happens. Truth be told, it's a lot of hard work. It's totally worth it.

I hope you enjoy this week’s Tarotscope. Feel free to comment below about what you think of them or how they have inspired you.

Goddess Blessings
